We’re excited for you to try it! Here’s how to get the new app.

Existing Users

We know everyone’s excited to get the new app but there a few steps to take before getting it.

For existing users, you will receive a prompt in the app once your account has been moved to the new app. You will see this upon logging in to the existing app.

Simply follow the steps below for a smooth transition:

Step how to migrate

  1. You will receive this prompt in the app when you login in to your current Merchantrade Money app.
  2. Click on Get App and it will direct you to the App Store / Google Play to download the new app.
  3. Once you’ve downloaded and installed the new app, proceed to login with your registered mobile number and app passcode.
    *Remember not to share your app passcode with anyone.
    *You may be required to update your ID details and setup your Security Phrase. If this is required, you will be prompted in the app.
  4. That’s it! You’re now ready to experience the new app!
    (You can delete the old Merchantrade Money app once you’ve logged-in to the new app)

 

💡 Pro tips for a smoother app experience:

  • Avoid clicking on unfamiliar links such as .APK files. We will never send you links to download apps or related software onto your device.
  • Update your smartphone with the latest OS version.
  • Ensure you have enough free storage space on your device before installing the app.
  • Use a stable Wi-Fi network or a mobile data connection to ensure a smooth installation.

The new Merchantrade Money comes with a fresh new look, upgraded features and improved experience to give you a smoother, faster, and better way to manage your money.

Merchantrade Money is supported by any smartphone with the following specs:

  1. iOS 15 and above
  2. Android 6 and above
    (Note: This app can’t be used on jailbroken devices)

Yes! This is a whole new app with improved features and a fresh new look to enhance your experience.

Existing Users

If you’re an existing user, you’ll need to wait for a prompt before switching to the new app. This prompt will appear when you log in to the current app, letting you know that your account has been moved. Once you receive it, you can download the new version, as the old app will soon be discontinued.

No, you can continue using your existing Merchantrade Money card for all transactions.

You will not need to register your details again. Just proceed to login with your registered mobile number and existing passcode.

Note: You may be asked to update your ID details and setup your Security Phrase. If this is required, you will be prompted in the app.

You can uninstall / delete the app after you have successfully downloaded and log in to the new app.

For existing users, you will not be able to upgrade until you receive a prompt from us. Rest assured, you will be notified in the app when your account has been moved to the new app.

After downloading the new app, you can proceed to login with your current app passcode. You may be required to update your ID details and setup your Security Phrase. You will be prompted in the app.

No, you don’t have to. You may continue using your existing passcode to login.

Your wallet balance, transaction history, statements and data will remain the same in the new app. If you’re experiencing any issues, please contact us for assistance.

All your existing recipient lists will remain once you move to the new app. If you are unable to view your recipient list, please contact us for assistance.

All pending transactions will be reflected in the new app. If you are unable to view your pending transactions, please contact us for assistance.

All transaction history will be updated in the new app. If you are unable to view your transaction history, please contact us for assistance.

All top-ups via JomPay or CDM will be updated in the new app. If you have not received your top-up, please contact us for assistance

Unfortunately, you will not be able to use the new app until you get the prompt to download it. Until then, you can still continue using the existing Merchantrade Money app.

Yes, all salary transactions will remain the same as it was in the previous app. If your account is not moved yet, you salary will be credited into your existing Merchantrade Money app.

Yes, all your existing features & settings will remain the same and will be available in the new app once you’ve logged in.

Yes, you will be able to use the new Merchantrade Money app once you receive the prompt upon logging in to your current app.

You can only use 1 app – which is the new Merchantrade Money app! After you install it, don’t forget to delete the old app as it will be discontinued soon.
